It's Saturday

WooHoo!! It's Saturday!!!!

Too bad my house is a mess and I need to clean!! I wish those little fairies that are suppose to come out at night and clean would come here! I really must get a little more organized if I am going to be a "working girl"!!

I FELL THE EARTH MOVE UNDER MY FEET......

Friday morning at about 4:38am to be exact....we were awaken to sounds of a lamp, on Nick's chest of drawers, jingeling. Nick jumped out of bed thinking we were having a horrible storm and thunder had shook the house....but it wasn't storming. Almost as soon as he jumped up the bed started shaking!! I mean literally shaking!! We were having an earthquake!!!! It was the strangest feeling!!! It last about 2 whole minutes!! THEN....when talking to mom on instant messenger, asking if her and dad were woke up by it....we had another one!!!! I guess it was an after shock. It only last about 10 seconds. What was ironic, Seth's school was in the middle of an earthquake drill when the after shock came!!! Later that day, we had a lot of rain and lost power for about 3 hours. I don't know if it had anything to do with the earthquake or not. We listened to Nick's emeregency radio that doesn't need batteries....I made him turn it down....it was kinda creepy listening to it. I felt like we were in a disaster zone.

Happy Birthday!!

Happy Birthday Dylan!!! Tomorrow, (Monday) my "little" nephew will be 15 years old!!! I can't believe it!!! I think that means that he will soon be getting his drivers permit?!? Oh my!! Well, no matter how big he gets or thinks he is, he will always be very special to his Aunt Sandy! I love you bunches, Dylan!! Have a great birthday, eat a piece of cake for me....and oh yeah, you're card is in the mail!!!

PAYDAY!!

Friday was my first PAYDAY in about...oh....14 years!!!! I have to admit, it was a little bit of a rush!! We went out to eat at Red Robin....my treat!!!!! Now, as much as a rush as it may have been....I don't know that it was big enough to keep working should they offer! I kinda like being home and miss all my "lunch dates"!! Thanks Nick for allowing me the opportunity to choose! I love ya!

What Decade Are You In?

At school this past week, every day was a different day.....Hawaiian Day, Sports Day, ect.... On Thursday, it was "Decade Day". Many of the kids dressed up from 50's, 60's or 70's. I'll have to say, Seth was an original! He was from the 1800's!!! He looked so cute....just wanted to share the picutres!!

There's a New Sheriff in Town.....

Most everyone who is reading this knows already, but I know some who read it don't ....I got a job! Well, I guess you can call it that! I do sign a time card every day! I am the Payground Monitor at Seth's school for the remainder of the school year! They needed some one to fill in and they asked me and so I said "yes"! It's not too bad...I am enjoying. Seth loves me being there and every day asks me if I gave out any detentions! I have came very close, but have yet to do so. I have, however, found my "mean voice"!!
